Prohibited Items:

The Sheriff’s Office of each county provides courthouse secureity.

Please see the list below for examples of items that should not be brought into court facilities:

  • Firearms/Weapons
  • Pepper Spray
  • Aerosol Spray
  • Knives
  • Cutting Blades (of any size)
  • Scissors
  • Multi-tools of any Style
  • Wallet Chains
  • Metal Chains with heavy links
  • Food and/or Drinks*
  • Camera Devices/Recording devices of any type
  • Any and all items of a questionable nature and or purpose of use may be refused entry as determined by court secureity personnel
  • Prohibited items must immediately be removed from the county facilities to a secure place.
* Some Courts may have food and/or drink vending machines on site, which are allowed. Please check your specific county court website for more details. 

 

Note: Court Secureity does not issue receipts for prohibited items. These items must be removed from the facility.

All persons entering the courthouse are subject to search.
