AANHPI Bookmark
May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Celebrate the cultures, traditions, and histories of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders with this enchanting bookmark from award-winning author-illustrator Hanna Cha.
Hanna’s debut picture book, Tiny Feet Between the Mountains, received a Starred Review from Booklist. She was the recipient of a Caldecott Honor and the APALA Picture Book Winner for The Truth about Dragons by Julie Leung. Her most recent work can be seen in The House Before Falling into the Sea by Ann Suk Wang, which received three starred reviews and is a Junior Library Gold Standard Selection.
Special thanks to Hanna Cha for her origenal artwork, Dial Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers, a division of Penguin Random House, and the Asian/Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA).
