About Paintsville ARH Hospital
Paintsville ARH Hospital is a 72-bed facility serving Johnson, Martin, Magoffin and Morgan counties in Kentucky. Opened as Paintsville Hospital in 1920, the facility was later rebuilt and renamed the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. The facility was acquired by Appalachian Regional Healthcare in December 2021, when it became Paintsville ARH Hospital. With a retail pharmacy and seven community clinics, the hospital offers a variety of services including cardiology, optometry, outpatient behavioral health, mammography, robotic surgery and nerve conduction studies. The hospital also operates a wound care clinic, which includes the use of hyperbaric oxygen treatment. Paintsville ARH Hospital has received designations as both a Wound Care Center of Distinction and a Wound Care Center of Excellence.
