A 1892 photograph from Rougeville, Michigan, has become the most iconic image of the massacre of bison in North America. Rosalyn LaPier, environmental historian from the Blackfeet Tribe of Montana and Métis, and Chris Geremia, Senior Bison Biologist of Yellowstone Park, also known as 'bison guy', explain the story behind the picture, and share their hopes for the future of the largest mammal of North America.
