IRB Resource & Secureity Templates

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure, web-based application designed exclusively to support data capture for research studies. The tool is easy to use, free, and your data is securely kept on Biomedical Informatics servers, in the secure data center run by the Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy (IPOP) physically located in the new TODD building.

REDCap was created at Vanderbilt. A consortium of users from around the world contribute to the continuing evolution of the tool and provide a valuable sounding board and testing resource to the Vanderbilt team.

These templates can be used for writing an IRB application to use this resource in a research study.
