Summary

The requested permit would be for the incidental take of ESA-listed shortnose sturgeon (Acipenser brevirostrum), Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus oxyrinchus) and Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar). The takes would be attributed to otherwise lawful sampling of non-ESA listed fish in the Lower Kennebec River. The duration of the proposed permit is 10 years.
