Milder Weather this Weekend
Clear and cold tonight with lows in the 20s. Milder weather kicks in with south winds by Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The milder weather sticks around into early next week as a few storm systems cross the area.
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Skies will be clear and tonight will be rather cold with overnight lows in the 20s in most places. Look for a cold and frosty start to Saturday, but south winds begin pushing temperatures back up by the afternoon. Look for quite a bit of sunshine with highs in the upper 50s and right around 60. Sunday looks breezy and mild with gusty south winds in the 20 to 25mph range. Highs will rise well into the 60s. Expect even milder weather for Monday with highs near or above 70! We’re still watching a few storm systems next week with increasing cloud cover and at least some small chances for rain starting Monday night, lasting into Christmas Eve and possibly Christmas Day. We’ll keep an eye on it. Most highs beyond Monday will be in the 60s with most overnight lows in the 40s.
