Easy gravy made with broth. Changes: Reduce butter & flour to 2 TBS and water to 1 1/2 cups. Cook butter and flour 2 minutes over med. low heat. Use 1 1/2 tsp vegetable Better Than Bouillon. Also add some onion powder and garlic powder to taste. Can also saute diced onion in the butter before adding flour. Very good and easy.
Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup -- gimmesomeoven.com. **Use the alternate roux recipe at the end using these quantities: 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup flour, 1 1/2 cups broth, 3/4 cup milk, 1/2 tsp each onion & garlic powder, 1/8 tsp salt (omit chicken, thyme, pepper, & celery seed). Recipe makes the equivalent of 2 cans of condensed soup.

Easy Pizza Sauce I - this is the best pizza sauce recipe I have ever tried. Tastes like the kind used in restaurants. **ONLY USE 1 cup of water, reduce oil to 3 TBS. Mix everything except water together, then add water last. Sub thyme for rosemary (1/4 tsp), 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 TBS each of garlic powder, oregano, & basil.

Peanut Sauce. I made as directed but added 3/4 tsp garlic powder in place of fresh and added 1 TBS brown sugar. Reduce soy sauce to 1 TBS. I usually skip the ginger.
Sweet and Sour Sauce II Recipe. Very good! Reduced soy sauce by half (approx). Great with homemade egg rolls.
