The Mix Challenge (MIX165) today is winged things & to have at least 2 different kinds of media. For my card, I used ink, Copic markers & embossing powder. And the little bees definitely have wings. I'm just glad they're only on the card..I'm so allergic to insects I have to carry an epipen! To make my hexagons, I stamped & heat embossed using a pale yellow powder, onto black card stock. Hello friends; I hope you've had a brilliant start to your week. I didn't realise until late today that it is World Bee Day so thought it would be fun to make a bee themed card. I used the sketch from the current MFT sketch challenge and usually I would always exclusively use MFT products I couldn't find an MFT bee image in my stash so had to use images from another company. I am hosting this week's color challenge and I have chosen Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Basic Black. Dessert is any other green you would like to add! I chose what actually seems like a lighter shade of Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist. I totally had daisies and bees in mind when I chose these colors though I'm pretty sure there will be other ideas. This version is my attempt to NOT use my retiring scallop dies...
