MISS FARAH TUTORIALS on Instagram: "🎈CHIA SEEDS SENSORY BIN The perfect sensory bin for your toddler who puts everything in his mouth! All you need is 1/4 cup of chia seeds, 1 3/4 cups of water and food colouring. I placed them in the refrigerator overnight. It’s a bit messy, but I loved the colours and the jelly consistency. It was kind of like slime but taste-safe! You have to try it, your little one will love it. ❤️save this activity for later ❤️Tag a friend who would love this!" But for a child who had always been sensitive and avoided new textures, this was a breakthrough moment—and I couldn’t bring myself to stop her.

As a pediatric OT, I know how sensory play shapes the brain. It builds pathways for emotional regulation, fine motor skills, and confidence. For her, this wasn’t just messy fun—it was a step toward being more comfortable in her own body and environment.

The cleanup was rough (chia slime in hair is no joke), but hear Chia Slime, Sensory Play Ideas, Sensory Bin, Bad Idea, Emotional Regulation, Play Ideas, Sensory Bins, Child Development, Sensory Play
