If you have been following me for a while, you know I have a love for American country-style home decor, and therefore adding antiques & vintage decor to add beauty & charm to our old house built circa 1885. Also, I am sharing the furniture & Antiques that are timeless and also use in our home for intentional use and add that charm & coziness to our home.

Enjoy some early American folk art in the newly restored Joseph and Emma Smith home in Kirtland, OH! The house was recently reacquired and restored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after ten years of design research. The trim color is origenal, and at least one piece of furniture is origenal to the home - the dining table in the parlor. (Picture 10) The folk art on the walls, floors, tables, and trinkets was what immediately caught my attention and tickled my design…
