The Historic Egyptian Theatre, DeKalb, IL interior. I saw a lot of movies here during my college days.

The Egyptian Theater; a 1929, fully restored, Egyptian Art Deco movie palace, operated and maintained by P.E.T. Inc. (Preservation of the Egyptian Theatre) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Egyptian is home to 25+ community groups that utilize the theatre every year and the theatre continues to show movies (classic & family films along with film festivals).
