A little Star Wars in the cake toppers, a little SuperWhoLock in the DIYed bouquet, and a whole lot of pie, paper flowers, and photo booth shenanigans. This wedding even had a taco bar. But our favorite parts were the movie posters redone with the bride and groom. So epic.

Laura and Dan had a unique Pokemon wedding at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in late May last year. As huge fans of the popular Japanese media franchise, the couple thought this would be a fun way to infuse their wedding with their personal style. We just loved how it all turned out! From their carefully chosen color palette to the topper on their cake, every choice they made really brought their Pokemon wedding to life!

Kat and Halo both have pretty unconventional looks, so their wedding was going to be anything but boring! They brought lots of geeky elements into their May wedding.

This weekend John and I are at Dragon Con , the massive nerd-fest nirvana of all things glorious and geeky. It's awesome. So like every year, let's celebrate with glorious and geeky cakes! I thought I'd focus on weddings this year - just to show you guys that geeky elegance IS possib
