First, we make our anchor chart together and the kiddos get to illustrate the key words on the chart. Then, I model the routine and we do this quick little drill. I hold up sound cards during the routine (forgot to in this video) so the kiddos have a visual too! It’ll be a part of our daily routine until about 85% Glued Sounds Anchor Chart, Glued Sounds Activities, Glued Sounds, 2nd Grade Literacy, Science Of Reading, The Routine, Anchor Chart, Key Words, Teacher Ideas

The Reading Mentor / Teacher / Tutor on Instagram: "👍🏻After I posted the glued sounds flashcards a few days ago, I received many requests to create a poster as well to go with the flash cards. So here is a poster for your learning space so that students have something to refer to when reading/writing.

🍎Note that glued sounds are more easily taught as “stuck together” because the vowel sound is a bit distorted. While students can often read these patterns, the spelling typically requires a lot of practice.

📌We recommend saving this post for future reference and sharing with a friend!

🙏🏼Comment “glued poster” for the PDF copy of this poster.
