When they are too tight, they are pulling on our spine, causing imbalances and pain. 😩 One way to counter this is to actively stretch our hip flexors so we are training them in this new range of motion. How? Laying on your back on the floor with your knees bent, connect to your core ⚓️, then bridge up part way so the back of your rib cage is still connected to the floor. Core stays engaged throughout the entire exercise. In this half bridge position, bring one leg up, then straighten that leg (abdominals still engaged), and touch the floor with your heel.
