Hanging out in Wicker Park, Chicago ca. 1959 | Corner of North and Leavitt. The old CTA Humboldt Park spur line is in the background. It was demolished back in the sixties. Didn't crop out the garbage can because I wanted to illustrate what they looked like back then and I wanted to keep that old Caddy in the background. Also note what I think is an old police call box (on the pedestal) across the street. No, that's not me. Ektachrome film and a Nikon Coolscan V ED scanner. Wicker Park Chicago, Rick Nelson, 50s Vibes, Chicago Museums, Chicago Street, Police Call, Chicago Neighborhoods, Small Town America, Chicago History
