This was my first Izakaya at home video, (all the way back in June!) but it’s still my number one of the series—btw stuffing with cheese makes it even better. 🤩

Recipe:
350g potato, peeled and cut
35g glutinous rice flour/ potato starch/ corn starch
1 tbsp salted butter
1 tbsp milk

sauce:
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp sugar or honey
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp butter

boil potatoes until fork tender. use a ricer or a sieve to mash them up till smooth and no lumps remain. add remaining ingredients and stir. the mixture should be on the dry side! form into patties. add a strip of seaweed if using. chill for 20 mins.
