When we process them, we take them out of their plastic bags, give them a good cut and keep them in clean water. We place about 15 hydrangeas per bucket to make sure all of the stems are in PLENTY of water. The success of your florals lasting ALWAYS starts with your processing. We also DO NOT add anything to the water, like flower food. Just a clean bucket with clean water! And.. 2. When working with foam, we ALWAYS keep them super hydrated in the cooler and even on wedding day. Cross cross 4 roses to create a grid inside of the vase 2. Add in the “stemmy” flowers like spray roses and thistle to create more grid and lines inside. Since this is a large centerpiece I use additional stems such as spray roses to add to the grid inside of the vase. ✅ Fill in the empty space with the large hydrangeas.. keep it loose and natural. ✅ Add additional blooms to fill in the empty spaces. I’m using mini green hydrangeas. ✅ Arrange in the highlight “face” flowers like the peonies. ✅ Put in the accent blooms like lisianthus and star of beth, then texture fillers of peppergrass. My classic low and lush, I can make these all day.
