Ru-Paul Charles - when I was a little girl, I was fascinated by Ru. As a teenager, I idolised him and to a degree, still do. As the only girl on my street, I was always putting makeup on the boys; mostly my younger brother and his best friend. With us all having added interest in films like the rocky horror show, that didn't help, but at 31, the love and respect for Ru and drag continues.
