A set of Scots Pines created using some of my recent scans. I used photometric stereo for the pine needles and buds. The twig was scanned using a turntable. I baked the twig scan into a tiling material and applied displacement in speedtree. The trunk and stripped bark were scanned using cross polarised Ring Flash. I used object bounds to control the trunk blend in Unreal.
