A bit of change from Christmas cards needed a card for my sister’s birthday. Now I have the large cone flowers from Honey Bee but these ones from Concord and 9th are smaller and I can fit more onto the card. wooHOO to BEE-YOUTIFUL crafting, starting with this adorable handmade card featuring the Savvy Showcase Suite BEE MINE from Stampin' Up!

We're halfway through My Favorite Things December Release Countdown and today I'm sharing a "new home" card with the Meant to Bee stamp set. The honeycomb background was partially white embossed on watercolor card stock and ink distressed with several colors of Distress inks, then spattered with water. It was trimmed with the stitched rectangle die and adhered to a Primitive Cream card base. The bees and hive were colored with Copics and cut with the matching dies. I stamped the heart shaped…

It's always exciting when a new box of Stampin' Up! supplies arrives in the yellow courier van. New toys! First out of the box was the Honey Bee bundle from the new January-June Mini-catalogue. For inspiration for a first try out, I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. Although the honey bee stamps, in all their DistINKtive glory, are fabulous I was taken by the two floral stamps.
