Today we'll talk about how to improve your gaming table or diorama with the water surface.

Bad water on a model train layout can easily ruin it. Knowing how to make fake water for a diorama is a skill that can help make your layout look incredible!

Diorama I made using about 80% leather and hairs like boar hair. Most of the shorter grass/needles are synthetic. I created real time lightning bugs by running fiber optics into the scene (check out the video at the end of the album to see them in action). I embedded two tiny leather fish about the size of a drop of water into the river epoxy (small mouth bass, and a northern pike). The diorama is about 23" by 18".
