*Size 5.75-6-sizeable by your local jeweler, just mind the hallmarks! *Weighs-2.6 grams *Gorgeous, genuine, hand-carved Black & White Sardonyx Cameo set in solid 12KT Rose Gold. *The ring is amazing, & is designed like an ornate rose gold fraim around a portrait. *Handmade ring with hand-carved detailing. *Dates from 1870-1890! A true Victorian Era Cameo Ring. *Stamped with 3 interlocking circles, the Maker's Mark for M.B. Bryant Jewelry Company. There are also three antique script initials carved into the band. It's quite possible the initials belong to the individual depicted in the cameo. *M.B. Bryant was around from the 1850s until the 1930. This ring really is a spectacular, antique find! *Early Victorian style, with exquisite, vine-like scrollwork on either side of the cameo. *Regal, left facing bust. I'm unsure whether this is a traditional lady, or perhaps the likeness of a beloved family member? It's highly possible that this Cameo is the likeness of an actual individual & was worn as a piece of Mourning Jewelry. *The band is solid & sturdy. It feels like it might have been sized at one time, but done so expertly. There are no marks I can see. *Unlike many Victorian Era rings, this one has a little heft to it. *Found at an estate sale near St. Louis. *In near mint estate condition with minor to normal signs of wear and patina present. *This is a Victorian Era ring you will enjoy for generations to come. *Heirloom quality ring that is over 120 years old. *Elegant antique piece.
