My latest tattoo! Done in Sangkhlaburi, Thailand. I gave the artist free reign with making the design I found (on Pinterest, no less!) as Thai as he wanted. He added the head dress, the anklets and the rugs over their backs. It's for my mum :) xx
the phoenix, actually spelled "phenix" in middle english, is a greek mythological creature that represents rebirth. it is reborn from its ashes when it dies. it is a symbol adopted by early christianity (resurrection). <3
