This is my mom's pasta salad and so I grew up eating it which is why I think it's the best pasta salad of all time and you can't change my mind. It is so good and it's so easy. Personally, I think the reason why it's so good is because it has McCormick's Salad Supreme Seasoning in it. It looks like this. This is Salad Supreme but it comes in like a little shaker usually. You can get a little one or really big one but this stuff, I don't know what they in it but it's magic and it transforms a pasta salad to something just out of this world. We're also going to be using zesty Italian dressing. It has to be zesty, okay? Let's get to it. One box of pasta, cooked, drained, rinse it in cold water so it's cold. I highly recommend bow tie pasta. Next up is broccoli. You can do fresh broccoli or this is actually frozen thawed broccoli. Do not cook it. It's just thawed. Two bell peppers diced. One pint of grape tomatoes. Next about 12 ounces of cubed cheese. I like to do a combination of Pepper Jack, cheddar, and Colby Jack cheese but you can use whatever cheese that you like. That's all there is to it. Then we're going to add our McCormick Salad Supreme. It's three tablespoons which is right about what I have left. Then, we're going to add our zesty Italian dressing. Now, I really like to make this the day before, I think it taste so much better after it's been sitting in the fridge and like the flavors all melt together. If you're making it the day before, only put half of this bottle in here and then, right before you serve it, put the rest of the bottle in there because the pasta is going to absorb a lot of that dressing. So, I like to do half and then half before serving but if you're going to be serving this right away which is totally fine, then, use the whole bottle. Give it a good mix. There you have it. Super easy and super simple. The best pasta salad of all time. This is perfect for any summer party. A great side dish, and it's customizable. You can add whatever you like to it. We've put a little twist on our summer Caesar because everyone needs a hearty dish to go along with their salad. Number one, tomatoes. Oh should I get them all? This is eight pieces of thick cut bacon chopped up. This is a/ 4 cup of Parmesan. This is a full container of shaved parmesan. And we are going to mix all of this up together. And I ate this all the time when I was a kid. My next door neighbors. This was their classic dish growing up. I haven't seen them in years but every time I make the salad it makes me think of them. So I hope they're doing well. They made the salad without bacon but I have over the years adapted adapted adapted I've added the bacon to give it an extra twist so this salad has the freshness of the lettuce and then we've made it a little bit hertier by adding the noodle so let's show you how we do the dressing it's super easy I take take a measuring cup and I buy a classic Caesar the the inexpensive Caesar is just as good as the fancy Caesar unless you're going to make Caesar yourself just go with the inexpensive Caesar I'm going to use three/ 4 of a cup of Caesar dressing. See that in there? Three quarters of a cup. I'm then going to loosen up the Caesar a little bit because there's a lot of noodles in here. So we gotta loosen up the Caesar dressing with a little bit of Italian. I usually tell my kids when they make this to do like ah quarter cup Italian. Stir it together. And again because there's noodles in this fresh salad it's really good to add some salt and pepper. This is not quite a teaspoon of salt and maybe a/ 4 teaspoon of pepper. And I'm going to sprinkle that right in there. So that I've mixed up the dressing perfectly So this is basically thinned Caesar with added salt and pepper. Okay. It smells good. I know. I'm ready to eat. I'm taking this today. My neighbors are having a potluck. And I am bringing this right now to their house. It's best to make the noodles ahead of time. So that they're nice and cold. And to take the lettuce out of the refrigerator so it's nice and cold. The tomatoes were cold. So I'm going to serve this right away. Because it's not it's not great when you have to put lettuce in something and then let it sit in the dressing. So it's really best. Oops. It's really best to mix this up right on your way out the door. Last but not least you have to go with the classic Caesar crouton. Because people are looking for their Caesar salad to have some crunch. And you can give this one last toss Okay, let me know if it's all going in. Did I get it in? Basically? Yeah it's all baited. A couple we lost a few croutons. Yeah but it looks great. I know and it's good to actually mix those croutons right inside the bowl. So that you get some crunch as you go. But how gorgeous. How gorgeous is this salad? I'm so excited to bring it next door. It looks great.

It's about one bunch of green onions. Beautiful. Now we're going to bring in our one cut orange and red bell pepper. These are small peppers. So you know I used one of each because I didn't feel like my one pepper was quite enough. Mm. Now this is about five stalks of celery chopped. Alright. And then we've got one small diced onion. These colors are looking beautiful. Yeah it's really pretty and it's so easy. This is one of the easiest macaroni salads that I've ever made. I love it. It's a little different. Uh one of the things that makes it a little different is our pickles. I've got I guess it's almost a jar of diced pickle slices. Ooh. And we are going to go ahead and maybe half a jar. Oh wow. Just put those right here. Yeah. Wow. And so this is the you know the base of our dish here. But what really sets this off from the rest is the sauce I'm about to show you how to make. Okay. Let's put this aside for now. And let's start having some fun making this sauce. I am so excited to make this for you guys today. Uh it's a recipe that I learned actually last summer and I just hadn't made it since then. So we are going to with one cup of mayonnaise. Uh I use Duke's mayonnaise for this. You can use Hellman's or whatever they go by now. I don't think it's Helmans any longer but I'm a Duke's guy so we're using Duke's. So we're going to get that here into the bowl. Alright. Now, we are going to take our daisy sour cream. We're just going to put that right in here. Alrighty. Okay. Little over half a cup of the sour cream. Now we are going to use some Dijon mustard. Yum. And we're going to whoo. That was that was ready to come out. To come out. Yeah. Actually it's about perfect but ultimately it should be a couple tablespoons. Okay. Yum. I love Dijon. Yes. Dijon mustard is a great seasoning. Yum. Now we've got our minced garlic. Mm. Um the recipe calls for about four cloves of minced garlic. So I'm going to do about a little over of one one teaspoon. Okay. Alright. Yum. Ooh this smells so good. It does smell good and it tastes even better. I promise. Uh so now we are going to get our red wine vinegar. Okay. Okay. Ooh. We're going to do a tablespoon of that. And then and this is where I think this recipe's a little different. Okay. We are going to bring in our pickle jar. And we are going to scoop out about a teaspoon of that pickle juice. Whoa. Noah. The recipe calls for sweet pickles. Okay. I am not a fan of sweet pickles. I think that sweet pickles are the story that mama cucumbers tell their baby cucumbers to make them behave so they don't end up as sweet pickles in the afterlife. Oh my goodness. Um that's that being said we're almost done here. We're going to grab a little bit of brown pepper. Mhm. And then Little bit of salt. I like things a little bit spicy. So we're going to go ahead and add some red pepper flakes to this. Oh wow. Oh you like it real spicy. I like it real spicy. That's a lot eight cups of pasta. Oh my gosh. So now we're going to go ahead and mix this up into a nice consistency. It's nice. It smells really fresh even with like the mayonnaise in there and everything. No, this is ooh. This is a wonderful garlic. Just creamy garlic dressing. And I tell you what, this is wonderful. Oh, I'm excited to see this on your pasta salad. Yeah. This looks like it's going to be so tasty. Let's put this to a nice consistency. It's starting to come together. Starting to see that pepper mixed in. Nice creamy dressing. Alright. I think we are I think we're there. Alright. Let's go ahead. We'll put this aside. We're going to bring our pasta back in. Ooh Okay. Beautiful. Now we're going to take our dressing. And we are just going to wow. Coat this. Oh my gosh. And that looks beautiful. We don't want to miss any of this goodness. Mm. So let's make sure we get it all. Love that. Waste not want not. Waste not want not. Exactly. Alright. So now the fun part. We're just going to fold this dressing into our pasta here. Yum. Oh yeah. Now this is can you smell that? Yeah. All those yeah. It smells so good. Wonderful. And we are just going to make sure we get this nice and mixed up. Wow. All those flavorful vegetables and then this spice combo. I would never thought about this but this I feel like this is going to be delicious. This is going to be delicious. Wow. I like celery in a cold salad too. Yeah. Celery is just such a great additive to to everything. It's in that you know. Nice crunch. Alright guys. Look at that. So see just it's beautiful. Comes together in no time. It's a real aesthetically pleasing salad. We got lots of nice vibrant colors. There we go. And then beautiful. And you can make this you know the great thing about this is you can make this a couple days ahead of time. You know that that's good in the refrigerator. You know four or five days. You don't have to worry about it. Just cover it. Store it away. Honestly it's almost better to let it just absorb those flavors for a couple couple days before you serve it. Alright. And finally I just like to add a little extra pop of color. Ooh. Cut in half. Some cherry tomatoes. Alright. And I think this have to do this part. Some people don't put a lot of people don't put tomatoes in their salads but you know I love it. Anytime you can put mayonnaise on a tomato. I'm in. Same. Um fresh tomatoes. Yum. Alright. Alright.
