This initiative provides a crucial experiential learning opportunity for students, while demonstrating the value of their advanced abilities and knowledge to employers in a wide array of fields.

Fall and Winter Term

Rackham Fall and Winter Doctoral Intern Fellowships offer doctoral candidates three options for pursuing internships for 20 hours per week during the academic term.

Spring/Summer Term

Rackham Spring/Summer Doctoral Intern Fellowships offer doctoral students at any stage in their Rackham program three options for funding full or part time internships between May and August.
