=1The American Red Cross offers a variety of event services and presentations. Our volunteers, programs and services reach thousands of people with disaster preparedness materials and other lifesaving information.
The Red Cross provides disaster education presentations to over 29,000 individuals in the community a year to help them prevent, prepare, and recover from disasters or other life-threatening emergencies. Our partnership with Gallaudet also allows us to provide special preparedness materials for the visually impaired.
When disaster strikes, the Red Cross is ready to provide a place to sleep, warm meals, clothing, emotional support and hope to those affected.

We collect blood every day from donors who help ensure a safe supply of blood when it’s needed.
We offer training in first aid, CPR/AED, swimming and water safety, care giving and more.
