SRBC Holds Business Meeting - SRBC held its quarterly business meeting in Harrisburg, Pa. on December 12th, 2024. Among its actions, the Commission adopted the 2025 regulatory program fee schedule; approved a contribution to an abandoned mine drainage remediation project; approved a motion to release a proposed general permit for public comment; and acted on 16 regulatory program water projects, tabling two.

Consumptive Use Mitigation Grant Program Opens - SRBC is committed to the mitigation of consumptive use and improving the drought resiliency of our basin. Through its Consumptive Use Mitigation Grant program, the Commission will continue to expand its pool of partners in the effort by providing up to $6 million this year.
The Guardian (Fall 2024) - the Commission's electronic newsletter, informs our stakeholders on a quarterly basis of important studies and technical projects, proposed policies and regulations, and other items of interest to residents, communities, and businesses of the Susquehanna River Basin. Conowingo "Pay-for-Success" Program - Request for Proposals Round Two - SRBC is releasing a second round of requests for proposals for projects that mitigate water quality impacts of the Conowingo Reservoir on the Chesapeake Bay. In the first round, the Commission, acting as financing authority, offered $11 million provided by the state of Maryland to seven projects that meet nutrient reduction goals of the Conowingo Watershed Implementation Plan.
