City Parking Facilities
There are free on-street parking spaces located throughout Downtown St. Albans, many of which are controlled by time limits, according to signage. When parking on the street please take note of posted signs.
The City also manages three public parking locations:
- The City Parking Garage at 26 Hampton Lane.
- The Lake Street (Courthouse) Parking Lot between 26 and 36 Lake Street.
- The City Hall Parking Lot at 28 Hudson Street (behind City Hall, 100 North Main Street) - by permit only.

Hourly and Daily parking
Paid parking is available in the City Parking Garage and the Lake Street (Courthouse) Parking Lot. The City has partnered with ParkMobile to provide contactless payment at these locations, starting November 1, 2024.

Each new parking session also requires a $0.40 transaction fee. If a parking session is extended, the transaction fee is not charged again.
*24 Hour parking via ParkMobile is only available at the City Parking Garage.
Monthly and Annual Parking Permits
Permitted parking is available at the City Parking Garage, the Lake Street (Courthouse) Parking Lot, and the City Hall Lot. The City has partnered with T2 to provide an online portal for purchasing and renewing parking permits. Parking permits can be purchased by selecting "View Permits" on the City's online patron portal: Patron Portal
Starting November 1, 2024 parking permits will be completely digital - there is nothing to display in the vehicle and there is no need for a proximity card to enter the garage.

Parking enforcement
Parking enforcement is managed using license plate data from ParkMobile and from the T2 permitting system. Parking tickets can be viewed and paid by selecting "Search Tickets" on the City's online patron portal: Patron Portal
