For allergies in particular, it's important to strictly avoid allergens.

Custom Food Solutions, a food supplier based in Louisville, Kentucky, issued a voluntary recall Wednesday for more than 100,000 pounds of frozen Drunken Chicken over undeclared allergens.

“As our skin dries out, there are microscopic cracks that occur in our skin, which allow environmental allergens and pollutants to enter that would otherwise not enter more hydrated skin,” he said.

The revamped fries don’t contain any of the nine major allergens, but do include pea starch in their coating.
