The Manhattan Beach store will be Erewhon’s first in the South Bay and is scheduled to open in March in a former Mother’s Market & Kitchen at 1700 Rosecrans Ave. After that, the West Hollywood store is set to debut over the summer at 8550 Santa Monica Blvd. in a space that was previously a Sprouts.

The Glendale store is expected to open toward the end of the year at the site of the old Virgil’s Hardware Home Center at 520 N. Glendale Ave.

It was located at 122 W. Garvey Ave. and did not reopen following the mass shooting, which is the deadliest in modern Los Angeles County history.

In the midst of the devastating Eaton fire, a particular wooden picnic table remained fully intact at 2553 Fair Oaks Ave in Altadena, Calif. This was the address of the microcomedy theater, Public Displays of Altadena, known rather lovingly as “PDA.”

Less than two miles west on North Fair Oaks Ave., the fire destroyed more Altadena staples including the beloved Little Hen Coffee Shop and a newer neighborhood favorite, Pizza of Venice.
