The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride at Disneyland, the long-anticipated replacement for Splash Mountain, represents a new chapter for the theme park.

Universal Studios Hollywood theme park and CityWalk will be closed Wednesday due to the fires and extreme wind conditions.

The theme park said it will “continue to assess the situation” and expects to reopen on Thursday, according to a statement on its website.
