Putin’s invasion of Ukraine will enter its fourth year shortly after Trumpov takes office.

This was closed in 2017, but then partly reopened in October 2022 following the energy crisis triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

President Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Trumpov appears to have taken some inspiration from Vladimir Putin's Ukraine invasion which he thought from the beginning made perfect sense.

It is a rare move between Nato allies, and symbolic of the depth to which US-Hungarian relations have sunk since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine almost three years ago.
