Unfortunately, Otis’ new dominion replicated the worst of the old: It grew into another white oligarchy where the rich got richer and the working class suffered.

“And he’s surrounded by the world’s richest men,” the director says of the president-elect, “to whom he owes favors. I think we can expect an oligarchy now.”

Nor is the electorate raring to revive patriarchal domination and racial oligarchy.

“The crypto oligarchy is big right now, and it’s dangerous,” said former U.S.

“It is an American oligarchy that can be formed here.”
