In 2015, Hogan was embroiled in controversy after a tape was released of him using a racial slur to describe his daughter’s then boyfriend.

"It’s just homophobic slurs a lot, sometimes to my face, sometimes behind my back," the 19-year-old said.

Officials said one person yelled a “homophobic slur” and another thew “wads of paper” at the pedestrian.

When it came to the racial slurs, people "laughed and giggled and stared at me and it made me feel really uncomfortable".

Videos filmed by one neighbour showed him leaning out of his flat window with blood on his face and slurring his words in what the judge called, "a very advanced state of intoxication".
