All children of all ages and in all countries are being affected in particular by the socio-economic impacts and in some cases by mitigation measures that may inadvertently do more harm than good. UNICEF is the world’s leading source of data on children.
Energy Statistics
Database
The United Nations Statistics Division’s (UNSD) mission in the area of energy statistics is to strengthen national statistical systems in order to provide high quality energy statistics and balances. UNSD collects annual and monthly energy statistics and disseminates them on flagships data publications: The Energy Statistical Yearbook the Energy Balances the Electricity Profiles and the Energy Statistics Pocketbook.
Global SDG Indicators Database
Database
This dataset contains data on the global Sustainable Development Goal indicators and includes global and regional aggregates as well as country-level data for 115 of the 230 Sustainable Development Goal indicators (for its 2016 edition) with almost 500 data series and more than 330000 data records. The data series comprise Sustainable Development Goal indicators series and additional data series under many of the indicators. Many of the data series contain disaggregated data.
Minimum Set of Gender Indicators

The Minimum Set of Gender Indicators is a collection of 52 quantitative indicators and 11 qualitative indicators covering national norms and laws on gender equality. It was agreed by the United Nations Statistical Commission in 2013 as a guide for national production and international compilation of gender statistics. Data includes indicators under tier I and tier II covering such dimensions as education employment health the human rights of women and girls and public life and decision-making.
Monitoring the Situation of Children and Women

UNICEF is the world’s leading source of data on children and maintains databases of hundreds of international valid and comparable indicators. With such a wealth of information available the Data Warehouse has been designed to allow easy access to those indicators across a range of countries with some datasets spanning back decades.
National Accounts - Analysis of Main Aggregates
Database
The National Accounts Main Aggregates Database presents a series of analytical national accounts tables from 1970 onwards for more than 200 countries and areas of the world. It is the product of a global cooperation effort between the Economic Statistics Branch of the United Nations Statistics Division international statistical agencies and the national statistical services of these countries and is developed in accordance with the recommendation of the Statistical Commission at its first session in 1947 that the Statistics Division should publish regularly the most recent available data on national accounts for as many countries and areas as possible. The database is updated in December of each year with newly available national accounts data for all countries and areas.

Database
All statistics of UNCTAD are harmonized and integrated into UNCTADstat. It gives access to basic and derived indicators built upon common rules harmonized environment and clear methodology supported by powerful data browsing system. The statistical series are regularly updated and classified into easy-to-navigate themes. UNCTADstat offers ready-to-use analytical groupings with a unique coverage for countries and products and a particular focus on developing and transition economies. This approach ensures data consistency across multiple data series and enables users to harness its full potential by mixing and matching data from various domains. The navigation browser allows table or graphic presentations easy selection and reorganization of data personalized functionalities and several straightforward extraction options.
World Population Prospects Indicators

The main results of the World Population Prospects are presented in a series of Excel files displaying key demographic indicators for each UN development group World Bank income group geographic region Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) region subregion and country or area for selected periods or dates within 1950-2100. For advanced users who need to use these data in a database form or statistical software we recommend to use the CSV format for bulk download. Special Aggregates also provide additional groupings of countries.
