About topoView

The maps available through topoView are from the USGS US Topo series (both current and non-current) as well as the Historical Topographic Map Collection (HTMC)

The HTMC provides a comprehensive digital repository of all scales and all editions of USGS printed topographic maps that is easily discovered, browsed, and downloaded by the public at no cost.

US Topos combine the familiar look and feel of legacy paper USGS topographic maps with technological advances of the 21st century. US Topo map data is derived from the geographic information system (GIS) data of The National Map and is continuously updated via National, state, local, and commercial partnerships.

USGS topographic maps are also available through The National Map Download Application.
