  • Amendments effective from 1 January 2022

    HS 2022, which is the seventh edition of the Harmonized System (HS) nomenclature, is used worldwide for the uniform classification of goods traded internationally, and has been accepted by all Contracting Parties to the Harmonized System Convention. It shall enter into force on 1 January 2022.

  • Complementary amendments to the HS Nomenclature

    Complementary amendments to the HS Nomenclature 2022 Edition have been accepted as a result of the Council Recommendation of 25 June 2020 and 24 June 2021. These further amendments enter into force on 1 January 2023 and 1 January 2024 respectively. The HS Contracting Parties are, however, encouraged to apply these amendments from 1 January 2022.
