A Winter Storm Warning continues for northern AL and southern Middle TN until 6 AM Saturday. Periods of snow, possibly including a period of freezing rain or sleet is expected. Travel will quickly become very hazardous! Be careful if you must travel - slow down, don't use cruise control, and increase distance between you and the car in front of you. Also, pack an emergency kit for your car!
The Winter Storm Warning continues for all of northern Alabama and southern middle Tennessee through 6 AM Saturday. Here is an updated rundown of what we expect today. Snow will continue this morning, but there's potential for precipitation to transition into a wintery mix by mid-morning. Overall, limit travel if at all possible. However, if you must travel, take caution! Slow down, don't use cruise control, and increase the distance between you and the car in front of you. Also, have an emergency kit in your car!
