Snow Across the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Winds increase along the Rocky Mountain Front and high plains early Sunday morning. Those operating high profile vehicles and or towing light weight trailers may encounter difficult travel conditions. #MTwx
Light snow will affect Southwest MT Monday thru Monday evening. Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible at lower elevations, with up to 5 inches int the mountains. Some roadways could be slippery at times.
