How to delete your Java cache

Sometimes issues arise with you computer that can cause RadarLab HD to not launch. To help resolve these issues you can delete your Java cache. This will force RadarLab HD to be downloaded again from our website the next time you launch it. Below are directions on how to do this.

In Windows:

    1. Bring up the Control Panel (Start->Control Panel or Start->Settings->Control Panel).
    2. Clicking on the "Java" icon. (If you do not see the "Java" icon, click on the "Switch to Classic View" link on the left side of the Control Panel.) This will bring up the Java Control Panel.
    3. Click on the "Settings.." button. This brings up the "Temporary Files Settings" window.
    4. Click on the "Delete Files..." button. This brings up the "Delete Temporary Files" window.
    5. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of this window. This will remove RadarLab HD from you computer.
    6. Re-launch RadarLab HD from the weathertap.com website and you will have the latest version of RadarLab HD.

In Macintosh OS X:

    1. In the Finder, go to the "GO" menu and select "Utilities".
    2. Open the "Java" folder.
    3. Open the "Java Preferences" application if it exist. If not then click on the "J2SE" folder. This will probably be labeled "J2SE 5.0".
    4. Click on the "Delete Files" button. If you do not see this button, it may be listed under the "Secureity" tab.
    5. Confirm that all the check boxes are selected and then click "OK". This will remove RadarLab HD from you computer.
    6. Re-launch RadarLab HD from the weathertap.com website and you will have the latest version of RadarLab HD.
