Joe Thompson on Instagram: "Adding bands of clear glaze over the top of a dark iron-rich base glaze. The clear causes more flowing movement, and makes the glaze break to a brighter caramel colour. I've tried this technique with a few different glazes so far, and this is still my favourite combination.
