There is literary evidence for 'Vedic civilization' in the form 'Four Vedas'. But, there is no physical evidence linking 'Vedic people' to Indus Valley civilization. The only possibility is that the decipherment of Indus seals could bring in such evidence linking these two. Finally, Indus seals speak for themselves. There is a possibility that all these seal inscriptions are indicating various Yajnas performed. It is likely, the majority of the yajna conducted were Smasa cayana ritual for 'Pithrus'(Dead people).
