Task 1
We will define the different sources of funding in order to succeed in our project. We will
analyse the advantages and disadvantages as well as the effect of each source which we will need
on the project.
Task 2
We will discuss the costs of finance use in our project and explain why it is important to make a
good financial planning.
We will show a brief Profit and lost account, balance sheet and calculate the NPV, IRR and also
the ARR in relation with our project.
Task 3
We will try to assess the performance and define where our company is position itself in relation
to the different concurrant on the market by showing a cashflow of our company
in this assignment to answer 3 questions:
Critically analyse SAB’s globalization strategy in the food and beverage industry.
Discuss the importance of key success Factors in businesses and organisations with specific reference to
SAB.
Critically discuss how SAB utilises its strengths and overcomes its weaknesses to compete in foreign
markets.
For this we will introduce firstly the company SAB, then in three different chapters we will answer also to our best to the above question.
In fact the report is oriented on the strategic position that starbucks played in 2010. It therefore important to know how was this market 4 years ago.
Which mean starbucks , mean coffee it is therefore the reason why it exist. All the company is based on this market. Coming precisely to this market, coffee, «Coffee is one of the world’s most popular beverages. Gross imports of all types of coffee have quadrupled from 33 million bags in 1949 to 132 million bags in 2010.» (ITC, 2011).
According to ITC (International Trade Center) for the year 2010/11 it is estimated that the world’s consumption of cofee is estimated to be 130,900,000 bags. Of this total, 69.4 million bags have been consumed in the importing countries members of the OIC, 20.5 million bags were consumed in the countries who do not members of OIC, and the 41.0 million remaining bags have been consumed in the countries of the producers. The market of coffee roasted and ground is dominated by large multinational companies.
It is always interesting to see how is the market in which we work at a worldwide scale. Because we may export or expand our market share on an international scale. In fact, it is already the case for starbucks, the brand is already present in more than 150 countries.
But for the moment we will concentrate on the American industry. It has all started there for the brand. First of all we are going to highlight the Key Driving Forces through an analysis both internal and external.
Throughout this assignment we will see how we can build a company, more exactly a restaurant.
Through a business plan, we will be able to describe the members of the company.Furthermore, we will describe the nature of the activity that is; the services that we offer and their prices. Of course there can be no business plan without a market analysis, therefore we will inform you of the details on the market in which we have decided to situate our restaurants. This analysis of market will enabe us to have a better knowledge of our competitors but also our targets. You will also see our little extra in order to differentiate us from our competitors. Through a SWOT analysis you will see the opportunities that we have. In detail, through a shema you’ll see our mode of distribution. The company that we will talk will use the maximum of recylced products that is respectful to the environment.Additionally, you will see a sample products that we also use in our CSR program that will be at your disposal! In addition we will inform you of our business model, the latter purpose will be to summarise the business plan. Finally you will also have the opportunity to see our actions of communication that we are preparing all the two weeks.
