Note: Copies of patent related documents that have not been issued or published are not available to the general public or open for public inspection; and no information or copies may be obtained without the written consent of the applicant, attorney of record, or the assignee. Documented entitlement or a power to inspect must accompany your request. During the order process you will have the opportunity to upload documentation that will be used for entitlement verification.

Existing online document ordering system users

You must have a USPTO.gov account to order certified copies of patent and trademark documents. To view your previous order history, link your USPTO.gov account to your online document ordering system account. Only online orders (not fax or email orders) are viewable online.

Already have a USPTO.gov account?

If you currently have a USPTO.gov account, sign in to the Certified Copy Center and during sign in, you can link your USPTO.gov account to your online document ordering system account.

Need to create a USPTO.gov account?

If you do not have a USPTO.gov account, create an account. Once you have an account, sign in to the Certified Copy Center and link your USPTO.gov account to your online ordering system account.
