Evidence that encourages a feminist reading of Braid can be found within the game's interface, core game mechanic, and its multi-faceted narrative. Whether or not it does so intentionally, Braid takes a definitive stance against the social illness that is the abuse of male privilege, focusing particularly on the objectification of women as present in heterosexual romantic relationships. This reading of Braid is significant because it subverts the misogynistic nature of the player-character's quest, shedding light on the problematic nature of the narrative behind some of the most influential franchises in the video game industry.

The provision allows for whale meat to be sold to offset the cost of research. Digimon Adventures, and the leveling system it contains is relatable to Japanese thought towards whales as food. When Digimon grow more powerful they 'digivolve' into new being, usually equipped with some sort of weaponry or technology. They are of greater value than lower leveled Digimon, who retain a more organic appearance. This paper explores the relationship between human and animal, and the definition of the term animal through the lens of Digimon Adventures.
