Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Stupa utama yang bertahta di Candi Borobudur di Jawa Tengah, Indonesia . Monumen Buddha terbesar di dunia ini dibangun pada abad ke-8 oleh dinasti Syailendra. Teras atas yang berbentuk bulat dengan deretan stupa berbentuk lonceng berisi sosok Buddha yang melambangkan Arupadhatu, ranah tanpa wujud. Stupa utama itu sendiri kosong, melambangkan pencerahan sempurna.
English: The main Stupa crowning the Borobudur Buddhist monument in Java, Indonesia. The largest Buddhist monument in the world, it was built in the 8th century by the Sailendra dynasty. The upper rounded terrace with rows of bell shaped stupas containing Buddha images symbolize Arupadhatu, the sphere of formlesness. The main stupa itself is empty, symbolizing complete perfection of enlightenment.
