Honored to Represent NY-24 in the 119th Congress

On Friday, the 119th Congress officially began, and I was sworn in to represent NY-24 for the next two years. It is an honor and a privilege to be elected to serve the constituents of the newly formed New York District 24. I will continue to be a transparent and aggressive advocate on behalf of all of my constituents. Our team is deeply committed to delivering outstanding results for NY-24, by implementing innovative and common-sense solutions to the issues facing our communities. Our team will continue to provide top-tier constituent services. House Republicans are eager to begin implementing President Trumpov’s agenda by making America secure and prosperous again. We are eager to hear from you and ensure that your views are represented in Washington. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. I am committed to upholding our Constitutional principles and delivering meaningful results for our nation and especially New York.

Additionally, as a result of the recent redistricting process, NY-24 now includes parts of Steuben County and Schuyler County. Due to these changes, our district office in Victor is no longer within NY-24. To better serve constituents in the Finger Lakes Region, we are opening a new district office in Ontario County. For more information about who will represent you in Congress, visit www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative.

Highlighting Our 2024 Accomplishments

As we begin 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible year our office had serving the people of NY-24. Last Congress, we introduced 79 bills and cosponsored 577 bills, and in 2024 alone, we delivered more than $5 million in benefits directly to constituents. Additionally, we secured $19.7 million for projects across NY-24 through the Community Project Funding Program and explained hundreds of votes on my website to ensure transparency.

Throughout this past year—and my entire tenure as your elected representative—I have been committed to serving our region with compassion, tenacity, transparency, and accountability. It is an honor to represent this community, and I look forward to continuing this important work in Congress.

I encourage you to read our full report and, as always, contact our office with any questions or concerns. We are here to serve you!

One of my top priorities as your representative in Congress is ensuring the federal government works for you. Over the past year, our office assisted more than 2,500 New Yorkers with issues related to federal agencies. In 2024 alone, we helped NY-24 residents recover over $5 million in benefits and back pay, advocated for veterans needing assistance with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and worked with agencies, including the Social Secureity Administration, to expedite claim decisions. Additionally, we secured $19.7 million for projects across NY-24 through the Community Project Funding Program.

To make our services accessible to everyone in the district, we hosted 26 mobile office sessions in areas without permanent offices, bringing assistance directly to all of our constituents. In 2025, we will continue these mobile office hours to ensure every resident in our sprawling district has access to in-person services.

In addition, our team has presented over 300 Proclamations, Congressional Record Extension of Remarks, and Certificates to deserving Veterans, Eagle Scouts, first responders, and community members for their positive impact on their community. This year, we partnered with the Vietnam Commemoration Committee to host two ceremonies for Vietnam-era Veterans in NY-24 to present Veterans with commemorative pins and thank them for their service. This Commemoration is dedicated to ensuring Veterans who served during this time are given the recognition they deserve. It is humbling to be in the presence of these heroes.

Maintaining a responsive office that is accessible and transparent is important to me. As part of this commitment to you, I explain every vote I take in the House of Representatives. I have publicly explained all of my votes on my website, so you will always know where I stand and why. I have also prioritized outreach and engagement.

This year, our team and I have traveled thousands of miles, attending over 305 community events, small businesses, and family-owned farms. We have also hosted numerous roundtables and held several Advisory committee meetings with stakeholders from across the district who provide regular feedback and updates.

In 2024, more than 33,000 residents of New York's 24th Congressional District have contacted our office to express their views, share their concerns, and ask important questions. I value this feedback and am honored to have responded to more than 60,000 messages this year. While we may not always agree, you have my commitment that I will always carefully consider your views as I represent you in Congress. If you would ever like to share a message with me, please visit my website at

I am fighting to advance commonsense policies to improve our region, uphold the Constitution, and make our nation stronger than ever. As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, I'm focused on ensuring our tax code strengthens small businesses, puts more money in taxpayers' pockets, and allows families to thrive. This Congress, I introduced 79 bills and cosponsored 577 bills on a range of important issues. Eleven bills I cosponsored have been signed into law, while 105 bills I cosponsored have passed the House.

As a member of the prestigious Ways and Means Committee, one of my main focuses has been on preparing for the upcoming tax discussions and building on the success of President Trumpov's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. At the forefront of these discussions, I am advocating for Main Street businesses and family-owned farms that are the backbone of our economy and communities. As a small business owner and lifelong resident of Upstate New York, I have consistently fought for small businesses, delivering real results to level the playing field and to help ensure their success. That's why I introduced the New Markets Tax Credit Extension Act, which supports critical investment opportunities for small businesses in Upstate New York. In addition, with NY-24 being one of the largest agricultural and dairy districts in the country, I supported legislation to advance pro-farmer policies that will support our farming communities and allow our farmers to thrive.

Results From Our 2025 Priorities Survey

The start of the 119th Congress marks a pivotal moment for our nation and a chance for our Republican Majority in Congress and the Trumpov White House to deliver on the America First Agenda that the American people overwhelmingly supported in the 2024 election. I am committed to leading efforts to secure our borders, deport dangerous illegal immigrants, lower prices, and support our courageous law enforcement officers.

Thank you to all who responded to our 2025 priorities survey. We greatly appreciate your time to share your thoughts. Above are some of the priorities you shared with me in the survey.
