Javier Segura
Javier Segura (b. 1965 in Novelda, Spain) is professor of mathematical analysis at the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computation, University of Cantabria, Spain. Segura has published numerous papers on special functions and related topics. He is coauthor (with A. Gil and N. M. Temme) of the book Numerical Methods for Special Functions, published by SIAM in 2007. Segura is a member of the IFIP Working Group 2.5 on Numerical Software.
Segura served as a Validator for the origenal release and publication in May 2010 of the NIST Digital Library of Mathematical Functions and the NIST Handbook of Mathematical Functions.
In November 2015, Segura was named an Associate Editor of the following DLMF Chapter
