Compressed Gasses
Compressed gases will transition to university service providers beginning March 1, 2025, through June 30, 2025. At the time of onboarding, ordering through stores will be discontinued. The following link provides more details, including help links, click here.
During the transition, General Stores will continue to service departmental compressed gases requests.

Delivery Information
Compressed gases (including liquid nitrogen) in stock and ordered before 2:00 PM will be delivered next day. All same-day deliveries of gases will incur a $25 special delivery.

Unless we are otherwise directed by you at the time you place your order, we will automatically backorder any amount that we do not have in stock. We always plan to have the items you want and in the quantities you need. However, due to varying demand, this situation does occur from time to time. Please be assured that your backordered items will receive the same expeditious handling as the items that are filled at the time you place your order–they will be delivered as soon as they are received.

- Our Compressed Gases Division stocks all commonly needed compressed gases as well as liquid nitrogen. These gases are listed in our catalog from number 100000 through 100900.
- Gases that are not stocked are special order and can be purchased upon request, occasionally with next-day delivery.
- All “rush” or same day deliveries will incur a $25 special delivery surcharge due to the disruption in scheduled deliveries and to cover the additional costs incurred when responding to such requests.
- Holiday Deliveries are often affected by the days off. Please plan ahead to have deliveries either the week before or the week after when possible.
